Choose the right massage for yourself

Nowadays massage is a common subject to many people

as all of us struggle a lot with back pain,feet problems,sore neck,migraine etc.

Depending on the symptoms you have there is so many types of massage to choose from.
For example if you are tired after the long day or you have been under the pressure,stressed at work and you would like to relax the best massage is either the Back Massage or Swedish Massage.

Unfortunately,most of my clients suffer with trapped, pinching nerve, muscle tension, sciatica, lower back pain and others, so the Deep Tissue Massage is highly recommended.
As a physiotherapist and massage therapist I came across so many clients complaining of their back problems.
This type of massage is not only to work on the deeper layers of muscle tissue but is to release the pain with the trigger point therapy as well.
It helps unbelievably and even you are sore at the day of massage or two days after you would be amazed with the result.

Sports therapy is well known for athletics or very active people who love sport on a daily basis.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is the least known massage but is fantastic therapy for those people who suffer with oedema, swollen legs, fluid retention or to remove toxins from the body.

Waxing – what is important.

I have decided to write about waxing as many of my clients and I had a traumatic experience.

Most of the time the main issue is that the skin has been taken off, the strip is pulled too slowly or not in a proper direction or the therapist is not experienced enough.

I will advise you what you should pay attention to when you decide to have waxing:

  • Firstly when you go to the salon make sure that the therapist you are having treatment with is welcoming, nice and she makes you feel comfortable.
  • Very important to ask her how long she has been working in the Beauty Industry so you know she is not straight after a college.(newly qualified therapist do not have enough experience)
  • The room should be inviting,warm,very clean and hygienic

Now I will tell you about the treatment itself.
You should always be offered a disposable pants (many ladies are shy to expose themselves  in a front of a new person.
Depending on the waxed area the wax should be warm not too hot (burning) neither too cold  as it will not come off with a strip.

For me the most important thing while I am waxing is streching the skin well.
When I do that the waxing is less uncomfortable and the hair comes off in one go.
If your skin is not stretched properly this is the time when you are bruised or the same area needs to be repeated again.
Also when you are preparing for waxing do not trim the waxed area too shortly as the hair might not come off after the first application.

Please note that people with strong coarse hair need to be more patient as the hair are more difficult to remove.
Speaking of bruises, skins off or ingrowing hair I highly recommend you to buy a vitamin E oil.Why? Vitamin E oil has an amazing healing properties.
I have tried this on myself and my clients and I cannot recomend highly enough.It really works in short period of time. Of course you need to be paitient especially with ingrowing hairs but I make sure you it will solve your problems.

Sometimes it can happen that your skin is very sensitive to the wax (a skin is irritated or might come off slightly) then consider having a hot wax and this problem will never occur.

Cavitation Peeling And Ultrasounds
